Osteopore to sell Orthopaedic products directly in Singapore from 1 January 2027
Osteopore Limited (ASX: OSX) has announced that its subsidiary, Osteopore International Pte Ltd, and DKSH Singapore Pte Ltd have agreed to conclude the exclusive contract sales and marketing arrangement for its Orthopaedic products in Singapore with effect from 31 December 2026, ahead of its scheduled expiry.
Osteopore International will assume the sales and marketing of the business effectively from 1 January 2027, following an agreed transition period. The move shifts the Orthopaedic business to direct selling in its home market, with the company managing the customer relationship itself.
Dr Yujing Lim, Chief Executive Officer
“Singapore is a key market to us as it is our home-market, one where direct customer interaction drives adoption and innovation.”

Why Osteopore is taking the Singapore business in-house
The company says the initiative comes from the need to strengthen focus for the Orthopaedic business in Singapore, streamlining and enhancing customer interaction and experience.
Aligning with 3D printing services and the bone filler
The direct approach targets the same customer group as Osteopore’s 3D printing services, announced on 10 February 2026, and the upcoming introduction of the injectable regenerative bone filler, with the agreement announced on 12 March 2026. According to the company, both target the same customers as the Orthopaedic products.
The 3D printing services cover pre-surgical planning models and customised cutting jigs across Singapore’s hospitals, giving Osteopore an earlier touchpoint with surgeons before an implant is chosen.
Dr Lim said that, with the launch of the 3D printing services and the upcoming launch of the bone filler, “this direct approach strengthens customer communication and experience.”
A strengthened team
Osteopore has recently strengthened its sales and marketing team and says it is now well-positioned to support the business and its customers in Singapore.
Track record built under the DKSH agreement
On 6 November 2024, Osteopore International announced a 5-year exclusive multi-year contract sales and marketing agreement with DKSH Singapore Pte. Ltd. The agreement covered the company’s off-the-shelf products for bone loss treatment in upper and lower extremities.
Over the past 2 years, the company reports the following adoption results:
- Orthopaedic products deployed in all major Singapore public hospitals.
- Adoption by orthopaedic surgeons who offer surgical treatment for knee preservation and bone reconstruction, in cases of substantial bone loss.
- Adoption across a number of Singapore’s hospitals and clinics.
Osteopore thanked DKSH and its team for their support over the past 2 years.
The DKSH relationship continues elsewhere in the region, with a first DKSH Malaysia dental delivery completed under a separate five-year distribution agreement for Guided Bone Regeneration products.

Understanding contract sales vs direct selling in medtech
A contract sales and marketing arrangement means a partner promotes a company’s products on its behalf. Under direct selling, the company manages its hospital and surgeon relationships itself.
For investors, the distinction matters because direct selling can bring closer contact with customers. It also allows related offerings, here the 3D printing services and the bone filler, to be presented to the same customer group.
Osteopore’s technology is based on patented 3D-printed, bioresorbable scaffolds for bone regeneration. The scaffolds use a polymer that naturally dissolves over time to allow natural bone tissue.
What happens next for Osteopore in Singapore
Three steps define the transition:
- The DKSH exclusive contract sales and marketing arrangement concludes on 31 December 2026, ahead of its scheduled expiry, as agreed by Osteopore International and DKSH.
- Osteopore International assumes sales and marketing of the Orthopaedic business in Singapore effectively from 1 January 2027, following an agreed transition period.
- The injectable regenerative bone filler is described by the company as an “upcoming” introduction.
Execution on the transition will be the focus, alongside the integration of the Orthopaedic products, 3D printing services and bone filler for the same customers.
