HeraMED wins People’s Choice Award at 2026 Garmin Health Awards
HeraMED Limited (ASX:HMD) has won the People’s Choice Award at the 2026 Garmin Health Awards, presented at the Garmin Health Summit in Bangkok, Thailand. The company announced the result to the ASX on 2 November 2026.
In announcing the award, Garmin described HeraMED as an Australian publicly listed company advancing personalised, continuous, AI-enabled women’s healthcare across pregnancy, postpartum, menopause and chronic conditions through a unified, scalable, data-driven platform.
The recognition comes from a global wearables company and an international industry audience. For investors tracking women’s health technology on the ASX, it offers independent third-party recognition of the company’s positioning.

How the awards work
The Garmin Health Awards recognise digital health solutions integrated with the Garmin Health Connected Ecosystem of wearables and data integration services. Entries were assessed on customer benefit, scalability, uniqueness, innovation and performance.
Ms Gungadin pitched the HeraCARE solution and its integration of Garmin wearable data into personalised women’s care.
Why wearable integration matters for women’s healthcare
Clinical appointments capture a woman’s health at a single point in time. Connecting everyday wearable data to clinical care is intended to fill the gap between those appointments, so care teams can see more of what happens in between.
HeraCARE is HeraMED’s proprietary offering, engineered as a fully integrated maternal health ecosystem. HeraBEAT is the company’s clinically validated in-home foetal and maternal heart rate monitor.
Through the Garmin Health API, users can connect Garmin smartwatches to HeraCARE. This adds the following data to personalised care plans and remote monitoring:
- Heart rate
- Sleep
- Activity
- Stress
- Skin temperature
Richer data supports remote monitoring and personalised care plans, which aligns with the company’s stated goal of delivering better care at a lower cost.
The Lee Health pilot offers an early read on that goal, with 92% virtual adoption and a reduction in in-person prenatal visits from about 15 to 11 per pregnancy.
Anoushka Gungadin, Managing Director and CEO
“This gives women and their care teams a more complete view of health between appointments…”
Building on the Garmin Health collaboration
The award builds on HeraMED’s three-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement with Garmin Health, announced in February 2025. That agreement underpins the integration of Garmin smartwatch data into HeraCARE.
The award also gives HeraMED global visibility across Garmin Health’s network of healthcare, research, insurance and wellness organisations, supporting engagement with health systems and strategic partners. It reflects the industry’s growing focus on solutions designed specifically for women.
For investors, the visibility and validation may provide a platform for partnership conversations. The announcement does not tie the award to any revenue or contract.
HeraMED said its ambition is to deliver care across pregnancy, postpartum, menopause and beyond.
