Remplir records strongest U.S. sales month since launch
Orthocell (ASX: OCC) sold 92 Remplir™ units in the U.S. in October 2026, generating AU$279,000 in revenue from its nerve repair product.
The company describes this as the strongest month of U.S. sales since launch, an 84% uplift on average monthly sales of 50 units during Q1 FY27.
The update was provided ahead of the Annual General Meeting on 6 November 2026, with standard quarterly reporting to continue thereafter. For investors, it offers early evidence that the groundwork laid for the U.S. launch is converting into revenue.
Paul Anderson, CEO and MD
“October represents an important milestone in Orthocell’s U.S. commercialisation, with the groundwork laid over the past 12 months now translating into tangible revenue.”

October sales versus the Q1 FY27 average
The table below sets October’s result against the Q1 FY27 monthly average, using only the figures stated in the announcement.
| Period | Units sold | Revenue | Uplift |
|---|---|---|---|
| October 2026 | 92 | AU$279,000 | 84% on Q1 FY27 average |
| Q1 FY27 (average monthly) | 50 | n/a | n/a |
Orthocell attributes the result to four drivers:
- Growing surgeon adoption
- Increasing repeat utilisation
- A broader base of actively selling distributor representatives
- Expanded hospital access across key U.S. markets
Together, these point to broader commercial traction rather than a single-account spike.
How hospital access drives nerve repair adoption
Orthocell has said that commercialisation of innovative medical technologies follows a progressive adoption pathway as surgeons gain familiarity with new treatment options. Hospital access expands through Value Assessment Committee (VAC) approvals.
Expanded access has also come from outside the civilian system, with approval to supply Remplir across 221 U.S. military hospitals and VA medical centres more than doubling the company’s addressable U.S. hospital footprint.
Remplir™ is Orthocell’s nerve repair product for peripheral nerve reconstruction, and it has gained clearance for use in the US.
Because adoption is gradual, monthly sales trends are a useful gauge of how access is converting into utilisation. The company said October reflects progress in converting expanding market access into commercial utilisation.
Foundation for growth and Board confidence
Orthocell pointed to U.S. progress, combined with regulatory approvals across seven international jurisdictions and established manufacturing capability, as a foundation for continued commercial growth.
Surgeon confidence is supported by clinical data, with Remplir recording a 90% success rate across 78 nerve repair procedures in an expanded real-world study with no reported adverse events.
Chairman John Van Der Wielen said Orthocell has invested in the commercial infrastructure required to support Remplir’s expansion and is continuing to expand its manufacturing capacity in anticipation of increased demand.
John Van Der Wielen, Chairman
“The Board is encouraged by the October sales result and the progress achieved in U.S. commercialisation. […] The Board remains confident in the product’s significant U.S. market potential…”
Orthocell will continue to focus on:
- Expanding surgeon adoption
- Strengthening its active distributor network
- Growing Remplir utilisation across approved markets
What happens next for Orthocell
- Annual General Meeting: 6 November 2026, Orthocell Limited. The October update was provided ahead of it.
- Quarterly reporting: standard quarterly reporting is to continue after the AGM.
The October result marks the strongest month of U.S. sales since launch as Orthocell continues its U.S. commercialisation of Remplir™.
