The sale represents repeat business from an existing government customer in the Middle Eastern GCC region, where the systems are intended to strengthen defence capabilities in response to escalating regional tensions and conflicts.
The systems and related support are scheduled for delivery throughout 2026 and 2027, providing revenue visibility across two financial years. The customer is a large established prime contractor currently competing to fulfil an end-user requirement for over 130 systems. This represents the second sale of the EOS new heavy-calibre R800 system to a customer for evaluation, continuing the company’s strategy of working with national defence champions where appropriate.
EOS will work closely with the prime contractor and end users during 2026 and 2027 to support platform integration and trials. However, the company has cautioned there is no guarantee that any follow-on orders will be received.
The Indian order opens a significant strategic opportunity for EOS in one of the world’s largest defence procurement markets, where even modest initial contracts can signal substantial future revenue potential if product trials meet requirements.
UAE-Korea partnership creates potential manufacturing opportunity
EOS has confirmed ongoing discussions with an established UAE manufacturing partner regarding local production of RWS products, following reports of a US$35 billion defence industry cooperation agreement between the United Arab Emirates and South Korea. The planned partnership reportedly extends to supply chains for integrated air defence systems, including counter-drone technology.
During 2025 and early 2026, EOS has been in ongoing discussions with an established local manufacturing partner in the UAE to develop proposals for UAE-based manufacturing of EOS RWS products to support counter-drone requirements in the UAE and Korea. This opportunity sits separately from, but complements, the previously announced conditional US$80 million contract announced with Goldrone, which could lead to a future High Energy Laser Weapon manufacturing programme in Singapore or Korea.
If successful, these proposals could result in provision of a substantial number of EOS products to Korea in future years, though the company has emphasised no guarantee that any such orders will be secured. The manufacturing model would represent recurring production revenue rather than one-off equipment sales.
Middle East conflict driving multiple advanced systems negotiations
EOS has been in negotiations with several Middle Eastern governments throughout 2025 to provide advanced systems for air defence, including counter-drone systems. The company expects that the current ongoing military conflict could potentially accelerate those opportunities.
