Felix™ secures Turkey registration, first commercial sales completed
Memphasys Limited (ASX: MEM) has advised that its Felix™ System received the required product registration in Turkey, enabling commercial sales of the Felix™ cartridge and console to commence through the local distribution network under the International Technical Legacy (ITL) agreement.
The registration is recorded on Turkey’s national Product Tracking System (ÜTS). The Company confirmed an initial sale has been completed, comprising 100 Felix™ cartridges and two consoles.
The Turkey registration opens access to a large, established assisted-reproduction market and gives the local distributor an installed platform for clinic demonstrations, education and customer conversion.

Commercial roll-out under the ITL agreement
Turkey was added to the ITL distribution territory following CE Mark approval and the expansion of the agreement in September 2025, as detailed in prior ASX announcements dated 18 September 2025 and 27 May 2026.
The first commercial sale in Turkey has now been completed. The installed cartridges and consoles provide a platform from which the local distributor can undertake clinic demonstrations, education and customer conversion activities. The Company expects additional orders as IVF clinics are engaged by commercial partners.
Memphasys has also completed hands-on product training with ITL’s in-country distribution partner. This early training is intended to equip the local team to introduce Felix™ to IVF clinics and support the technical and workflow discussions central to adoption of new laboratory technologies.
Key facts from the initial sale and enablement activity include:
-
Initial order: 100 cartridges + two consoles
-
Registration platform: Turkey ÜTS (product codes FCAR001 and FCON001)
-
Distributor training: completed by the Memphasys team
A/Prof Hassan Bakos, Memphasys Director of Clinical Partnerships and Growth
“Regulatory registration in Turkey is an important commercial enabler for Felix™ under our ITL agreement. The initial sale and distributor training give us a practical starting point in a large, established IVF market. As local marketing and clinical training activities expand, we expect to see further interest from IVF clinics and opportunities to build recurring cartridge demand.”
Inside the Turkish assisted-reproduction opportunity
Assisted reproductive technology (ART) refers to fertility procedures such as in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) that help patients conceive. Once a console is installed at a clinic, ongoing procedures create the potential for recurring cartridge demand across the installed base.
Turkey has a large and established assisted-reproduction sector, providing a broad clinic base for future engagement.
| Metric | Figure | Source Basis |
|---|---|---|
| ART centres identified | 165 | 2024 peer-reviewed national study |
| Annual ART treatment cycles | ~75,000 | 2022 third-party study |
| Initial installed consoles | 2 | First commercial sale |
| Initial cartridges sold | 100 | First commercial sale |
Recurring cartridge demand across a large clinic base represents the value driver for the market. The Company has cautioned that the timing and value of future orders will depend on clinic adoption and purchasing decisions.
The recurring cartridge revenue model underpinning the Turkey opportunity mirrors the structure already generating returns across Europe, MENA, and Japan, where the March 2026 quarter delivered A$111,600 in combined Felix sales and demonstrated that console placements convert into repeat consumable orders.
ITL partnership progress and what comes next
ITL is Memphasys’ exclusive commercial partner for the Middle East and North Africa under a five-year agreement.
As a traction proof point, and separate from the Turkish order, ITL had placed orders for 1,800 Felix™ cartridges before the Turkish sale. This represented 72% of its 2,500-cartridge territory-wide minimum annual purchase commitment, achieved in less than two quarters, as referenced in the ASX announcement dated 27 May 2026. This figure relates to ITL’s broader MENA territory commitment, not to Turkey specifically.
The Company and its local distribution partner will now expand market-development activity in Turkey. Memphasys expects these activities to support additional cartridge and console sales over coming quarters, though it has noted future order timing and value depend on clinic adoption.
Next steps outlined by the Company include:
-
Expand clinic engagement and demonstrations
-
Continue distributor and clinical training
-
Convert the installed console base into recurring cartridge orders
Why the Felix™ System matters
The Felix™ System is a patented bio-separation technology that isolates the most viable sperm cells for human assisted reproduction. By combining electrophoresis and size-exclusion membranes, it delivers a sperm-selection process the Company describes as fast, gentle and standardised.
According to Memphasys, the system replaces traditional centrifugation, which can cause cellular stress and DNA damage, offering clinicians a repeatable alternative. The commercial strategy focuses on building contracted sales through direct and distribution-led channels, and scaling production to improve margins.
For readers wanting to understand why IVF clinics are receptive to Felix despite established centrifugation workflows, our deep-dive into the Felix clinical evidence walks through the pivotal study data showing a statistically significant improvement in Embryo Utilisation Rate over density gradient centrifugation and 100% clinician preference across 103 couples at 10 Monash IVF centres.
