InteliCare expands Hardi partnership with 84-bed upgrade and Nurse Call rollout
InteliCare Holdings (ASX: ICR) has expanded its commercial agreement with Hardi Aged Care, driven by an 84-bed upgrade at the Blacktown facility and a strategic decision by Hardi to roll out InteliCare’s Nurse Call solution across its network.
The expansion delivers an additional $371k in fees, representing a 13% increase in the total contract value of the Hardi agreement. That combination brings immediate hardware revenue and implementation fees while broadening the recurring Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) base.
Hardi has been a customer since the initial 2024 commercial agreement, and this upgrade reflects continued adoption from an established provider. For investors, recurring revenue growth from an existing customer validates the pattern management is actively replicating.
The numbers behind the expansion
The Blacktown expansion and initial Nurse Call deployments underpin the additional fees. The key figures include:
- Blacktown facility expanded by 84 beds, added to the existing 48 beds
- Additional approx. $232k in hardware and implementation fees from the Blacktown expansion
- Additional approx. $60k in annual SaaS fees at Blacktown
- Total additional fees from the Blacktown expansion plus initial Nurse Call deployments of $371k
- A 13% increase in total Hardi contract value
These additions build on the original 2024 agreement, which was valued at $2.9 million over three years. That initial contract comprised approximately $1.7 million in hardware and implementation revenue and approximately $400k per annum in SaaS fees upon full deployment. To date, four sites have been fully deployed, with the final two scheduled for completion by the end of 2026.

Nurse Call rollout extends InteliCare deeper into Hardi’s six facilities
Hardi has made a strategic decision to undertake a phased deployment of InteliCare’s Nurse Call solution across all six of its residential aged care facilities. Two of these deployments are currently underway at Blacktown and Manly Vale.
The remaining four facilities are still to be invoiced and deployed for Nurse Call, providing further upside to the contract.
| Facility | Beds | Nurse Call Status |
|---|---|---|
| Blacktown | 48 beds | Live, full InteliCare functionality in place |
| Manly Vale | 100 beds | InteliCare nurse call display and management active |
| Wyoming | 63 beds | Currently being installed |
| Seven Hills | 104 beds | Currently being installed |
| Mountain View & Guildford | TBC | Deployments and timing to be confirmed |
A visible pipeline of un-invoiced sites signals embedded future revenue that could add to the contract as installations progress.
Understanding the land-and-expand SaaS model
The land-and-expand pattern describes how a technology provider secures an initial foothold with a core product, then grows revenue by adding adjacent workflows once the customer sees results. In this case, Hardi began with core monitoring and is now extending into Nurse Call functionality.
Recurring SaaS revenue matters to investors because it tends to be predictable, compounds over time, and typically carries higher margins than one-off hardware sales. Each new module or site added to an existing customer increases the recurring base without the cost of acquiring a new customer.
InteliCare’s platform uses AI-driven, Internet of Things (IoT) smart-sensor monitoring designed for aged care. The flexible nature of the platform allows it to replace parts of the traditional nurse call system functionality, which is central to the current expansion. This upgrade is a live example of the model working with an established customer.
The mecwacare deployment, a five-year $8.8 million agreement covering 22 Victorian facilities, represents the same land-and-expand logic applied at greater scale, with a structured FY26-FY28 rollout combining hardware, implementation fees, and recurring SaaS subscriptions.
CEO Commentary
“Hardi’s decision to deploy the InteliCare solution within its expanded Blacktown facility as well as the roll out of InteliCare’s Nurse Call Solution across its network is a strong vote of confidence in InteliCare from a long-term valued customer. It’s exactly the pattern we want to see – providers starting with core monitoring and then extending into adjacent workflows like Nurse Call as they see the results. That’s how our SaaS base compounds over time, and it’s a template we’re actively replicating with other aged care providers,” said Angus Cameron, Chief Executive Officer of InteliCare.
What it means for InteliCare investors
The expansion strengthens recurring revenue and, according to the Company, validates a scalable aged care platform that can be replicated across other providers. Growth sourced from an existing customer reduces acquisition costs while lifting the compounding SaaS base.
Remaining upside within Hardi includes four Nurse Call sites still to be invoiced and deployed, alongside the final two original deployments due for completion by the end of 2026. Management has stated its intent to replicate this template with other aged care providers.
Beyond residential aged care, InteliCare has also entered the retirement living sector through a three-year Master Services Agreement with Warrigal Care, covering 65 villas and opening a reference case against a national market of approximately 2,300 villages.
Key forward items disclosed in the announcement include:
- Original Hardi deployment: final two sites to be completed by the end of 2026
- Nurse Call installations currently underway at Wyoming and Seven Hills
- Mountain View and Guildford Nurse Call timing to be confirmed
- The Company actively replicating the template with other providers
The scale of the un-invoiced pipeline within a single customer offers a measurable indicator of how the model may translate into future recurring revenue, subject to the timing and completion of each deployment.
