Graeme Legh appointed Kelsian Managing Director
Kelsian Group Limited (ASX:KLS) has appointed Group Chief Executive Officer Graeme Legh to the Kelsian Board as Managing Director, effective 27 October 2026. He continues in his role as Group CEO.
Legh has been Group CEO since 1 April 2025. His key employment terms remain the same, other than his change in position to Managing Director and Group CEO.
The completed Tourism Portfolio divestment delivered $149.9 million in gross proceeds and cut pro forma leverage to roughly 2.0x Underlying EBITDA, leaving a business anchored by contracted transport revenue.
Fiona Hele, Kelsian Chairman
“We are delighted to welcome Graeme to the Kelsian Board. During the past 19 months, Graeme has led Kelsian through the delivery of record FY26 results and the successful divestment of the Tourism Portfolio.”
“Graeme’s depth of experience and knowledge of the business will be valuable to the Board, and I am confident he will make a significant contribution.”

A leader shaped by Kelsian’s expansion
Legh’s career at the company spans development, international operations and group leadership. The key points from the announcement are:
- Chief Development Officer at Kelsian, before moving to the USA role.
- Chief Executive Officer of the USA business All Aboard America! Holdings Inc. from September 2023.
- Group CEO from 1 April 2025.
- Led numerous successful tender bids and acquisitions, including Kelsian’s entry into the Sydney and Melbourne bus markets in Australia and the Group’s international expansion into the United Kingdom, the United States and Singapore.
The appointment places the Group CEO, with this tender and acquisition record, on the Board itself.
That tender record continues to extend in the UK, where the Liverpool Bus Franchise Contract, worth about $80 million, marks Kelsian’s entry into franchised bus markets and positions it for the larger Tranche 2 opportunity.
What a Managing Director and Group CEO role means for investors
A Chief Executive Officer (CEO) runs a company’s day-to-day operations and reports to the Board. A Managing Director holds a similar executive role but also sits on the Board as a director.
For investors, that seat at the Board table links day-to-day management with Board-level oversight and strategy. In Legh’s case, the Managing Director and Group CEO roles are combined in one person.
