CareerOne and Decidr extend partnership for a third year
Decidr AI Industries (ASX: DAI) has announced the second renewal of its strategic partnership with CareerOne Pty Ltd, extending the arrangement for a further 12 months from September 2026 and taking it into a third year. The renewal continues on the revenue share basis first announced in September 2024, under which Decidr and CareerOne co-create AI-enabled products for employers and job seekers and share the revenue those products generate.
CareerOne sits within Decidr’s embedded partner channel, which represented 54% of annualised exit-rate revenue (AER) at 30 June 2026. AER is defined as total invoiced revenue in the last month of the quarter multiplied by 12.

David Brudenell, Executive Chairman, Decidr AI Industries
“CareerOne was the first outside party to back Decidr’s technology, and its employers have now placed more than 10,000 orders for our co-created products. That is reason enough to renew…”
What the embedded partner model means for investors
Decidr’s embedded partner model works by positioning Decidr’s technology inside products that CareerOne sells to its own existing employer customers. CareerOne’s employers are CareerOne’s customers, meaning Decidr gains commercial reach without operating its own direct sales function or incurring the cost of acquiring those customers independently.
The embedded partner channel represented 54% of Decidr’s AER at 30 June 2026, with CareerOne a named contributor within it. For an early-stage AI company, this structure offers scalable distribution at a lower cost base than building a proprietary sales team would require.
CareerOne estimates the Australian online jobs market at approximately $2 billion annually, based on publicly available industry and company data. CareerOne’s commercial model goes beyond the paid job advertisement, giving employers direct access to relevant candidates, and its priority over the next 12 months is to grow its share of that market using its employer distribution, data assets, and hiring products.
Year three priority — building the graph of work
The strategic focus for year three centres on breaking job advertisements into discrete tasks, with each task mapped across five dimensions:
- Skills — what capabilities the task requires
- Time — how long the task takes
- Risk — the level of risk associated with performing the task
- Cognitive requirements — the thinking demands placed on the person doing it
- AI suitability — how amenable the task is to AI execution
This task-level decomposition feeds into the Decidr Agentic Graph, described in the announcement as a shared graph of tasks, roles, decisions and outcomes that does not currently exist at industry level. CareerOne processes more than 4.5 million job advertisements per year, making its dataset a material input for constructing this graph.
The Decidr Agentic Graph is designed to connect organisational workflows and decision architectures into an interoperable network, with its defensibility thesis resting on the coordination layer rather than the underlying AI models it orchestrates.
The announcement explicitly states that the Agentic Graph remains in development and that the task-level work with CareerOne is a development priority for the coming year that has not been released as a product. This approach reflects the task-level methodology Decidr outlined in its FY26 investor presentation, applied to the employment market.

“Our partnership with Decidr brings together complementary capabilities at an important time for the workforce market…”
The extension continues the revenue share basis established at the outset of the partnership in September 2024. CareerOne’s contribution will continue to be reported each quarter within the embedded partner channel of Decidr’s AER disclosures.
