Talius secures A$850,000 expansion order from New Zealand’s Hato Hone St John
Talius Group (ASX: TAL) has received a Purchase Order from Hato Hone St John (HHSJ) in New Zealand valued at approximately A$850,000. The order comprises 4,000 additional Lifepod units and 4,000 Emergency Personal Pendants (EPPs).
The deployment represents an expansion of an established enterprise relationship rather than a new customer win. It is expected to increase Talius’ Annual Recurring Revenue by approximately A$55,000, reinforcing the Company’s enterprise strategy of securing repeat orders from existing customers following successful deployments.

Inside the order — hardware, timelines and recurring revenue
The order combines upfront hardware revenue with a progressive uplift in recurring software revenue. The EPPs are scheduled for delivery during October 2026, while Lifepod deliveries commence in November 2026 and continue progressively over the following months.
Recurring revenue commences as the devices are progressively activated, meaning the ARR contribution builds over time rather than landing as a single upfront figure.
| Component | Volume | Delivery Timing | Revenue Type | Investor Impact |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Emergency Personal Pendants | 4,000 units | During October 2026 | Hardware revenue | Immediate hardware revenue |
| Lifepod units | 4,000 units | From November 2026, staged | Hardware + recurring | Upfront plus subscription uplift |
| ARR uplift | ~A$55,000 | Activated progressively | Recurring software revenue | Recurring income as devices are activated |
Talius Compass rolls out across the HHSJ network
As part of the expanded deployment, all HHSJ Lifepod devices will now have access to Talius Compass, the Company’s cloud-based safety and care management platform. Compass transforms real-time data from connected devices into actionable insights for monitoring teams through a single, map-based dashboard.
The platform’s capabilities include:
-
Monitors SOS activations, falls and other emergencies
-
Live location tracking and emergency monitoring for lone and remote workers
-
Rapid incident response and improved operational visibility
-
Supports proactive care for elderly and vulnerable people living independently
The rollout deepens platform stickiness, with the hardware order pulling through wider software adoption across the HHSJ network.
How Talius’ connected care model works
For readers less familiar with the Company, Talius operates a device-agnostic Talius One Platform that combines real-time sensor data, CSIRO-validated analytics and automated compliance workflows within a single governed environment. This delivers automated alerts, workflow integration and compliance reporting across multiple care settings.
The Platform is deployed across home care, retirement living, residential aged care and hospital settings, with major providers including Bolton Clarke, Uniting Care, Keyton and St John among its users.
Each additional device deployment therefore compounds the long-term recurring revenue base rather than delivering a single one-time benefit.
Why the order matters for the investment case
The follow-on order demonstrates Talius’ ability to secure repeat business from enterprise customers after successful deployments. It follows the earlier rollout of more than 3,000 Lifepod units with HHSJ, strengthening one of the Company’s largest enterprise relationships in the New Zealand healthcare sector.
The addition of both Lifepods and EPPs expands HHSJ utilisation of the Talius One Platform while increasing recurring software revenue. As context, as of FY25 Talius reported 51,150+ active subscriptions and A$3.3M in Annual Recurring Revenue, up 12.7% year-on-year.
Pat Howard, Managing Director and CEO of Talius
“This expansion order is another strong endorsement of our partnership with Hato Hone St John and demonstrates the value of our enterprise customer strategy. Following the successful rollout of previous deployments, HHSJ has further expanded its investment in the Talius platform through this significant follow-on order. Importantly, this order not only delivers immediate hardware revenue but also increases our Annual Recurring Revenue by approximately A$55,000 while extending the rollout of Talius Compass across the Hato Hone St John network. It demonstrates how enterprise customers continue to deepen their adoption of the Talius One Platform as they realise the benefits of connected care, intelligent software and data-driven care workflows.”
What comes next
Delivery of the Emergency Personal Pendants is expected to be completed during October 2026, while Lifepod deliveries will be staged over the subsequent months. As devices are deployed and activated, Talius expects continued growth in its connected platform footprint with HHSJ.
The Company continues to work with HHSJ on further connected care opportunities and remains focused on converting additional enterprise opportunities across Australia and New Zealand. Talius has indicated it will provide further updates as the deployment progresses.
