$2 million placement at 42.9% premium locked in
Adveritas (ASX: AV1) has received firm commitments for a share placement to raise $2 million (before costs), with the issue of 25 million new fully paid ordinary shares at $0.08 per New Share (the Placement Price).

A placement priced above the prevailing market price is a point of interest for investors, as shares are issued at a higher price than where the stock last traded. The announcement does not name any new or institutional participants.

Diversifying beyond sports betting and gaming
New clients outside the core
Adveritas stated that it continues to diversify its customer base beyond its established sports betting and gaming core. As announced on 6 October 2026, a US-based channel partner has delivered a number of new clients across the telecommunications, retail and other sectors.
The company also noted a number of large brand-name clients outside the sports betting vertical currently in trial, with trial results “looking very positive to date” according to the company. Further expansion in the USA is anticipated.
Brazil headwind and mitigation
The Brazilian government recently implemented measures which significantly curtail the advertising operations of sports betting and gaming organisations in Brazil. The company described the status of this market as uncertain.
Payments from TrafficGuard customers with operations in Brazil have been delayed. Adveritas is working with these customers to collect outstanding fees and assess whether their advertising budgets can be redirected to other markets.
The company said that expanding into sectors outside sports betting and gaming is a key focus and assists in mitigating the impact of changes to advertising regulations in the sports betting and gaming industry.

What is ad fraud prevention and why does it matter?
Invalid traffic refers to clicks, installs or other interactions with digital ads that do not come from genuine users. Ad fraud prevention tools aim to detect and block this traffic so that advertising budgets are directed towards real users.
TrafficGuard, the ad verification platform from Adveritas, provides real-time protection across the following channels:
- Google PPC (pay-per-click)
- Mobile app user acquisition campaigns
- Affiliate networks
- Social media platforms
The company states that TrafficGuard is trusted by leading global brands, including Disney Streaming, Tabcorp, William Hill, Singtel and Coinbase. It also describes TrafficGuard as the only PPC verification vendor admitted to the Google Cloud Marketplace.
TrafficGuard has also extended its ChatGPT fraud detection into a new advertising channel, where the company says AI advertising could become its most material revenue line, though no related revenue has been disclosed yet.
Outlook: focus on a strong December quarter
Adveritas stated that it remains focussed on producing a strong December quarter (Q2 FY27, covering October to December 2026). The announcement does not provide revenue, cash balance or runway figures.
Catalysts to watch include:
- Conversion of the brand-name client trials outside sports betting
- Anticipated further expansion in the USA
- Collection of delayed payments from Brazil-related customers
- Quotation of the New Shares, expected on 26 October 2026
