Stakk secures U.S. postal vote deployment ahead of 3 November midterms
Through wholly owned subsidiary ParaScript, and working with several strategic partners in the U.S. government sector, Stakk Limited (ASX: SKK) has secured a deployment to support postal vote assessment. It is now live ahead of the U.S. midterm elections on 3 November 2026.
The company’s document review, data extraction and signature verification capabilities form part of a broader solution delivered by its strategic partners. That solution assists multiple U.S. states and counties to analyse and interpret certain postal votes.
These capabilities are designed to add a further layer of authentication to support the scrutiny required to safeguard the integrity of postal votes and help flag potential fraud. The announcement, dated 14 October 2026, describes the work as another U.S. government deployment secured through strategic partners, following a recently announced engagement with the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

Why signature verification matters in postal voting
Postal ballots are returned by mail, so election officials cannot check a voter’s identity in person. Signature verification compares the signature on a returned ballot against a signature on record, while document authentication checks that the paperwork is genuine. Accuracy matters because errors can affect legitimate votes or let questionable ones through, and reliability matters because the volume of ballots is large.
Stakk’s announcement says the scale of U.S. elections underscores the importance of accurate, reliable assessment.
Election scale and security funding
The announcement cites the following voter participation figures.
| Election | Voters | Note |
|---|---|---|
| 2020 presidential | 161 million | Record participation |
| 2024 presidential | 158 million | Closely followed the 2020 figure |
| 2018 midterms | Approximately 120 million | Highest midterm turnout rate in over a century |
The announcement also points to public investment in election infrastructure:
- Since 2018, the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) has awarded US$955 million in election-security funding to states and territories.
- The funding supports voting equipment, voter registration systems, post-election auditing, cybersecurity and other election administration improvements.
The company says this investment highlights the priority placed on strengthening election integrity and provides context for the role of document authentication and signature verification capabilities such as those delivered by Stakk. The announcement does not state that Stakk receives any of this funding.
Building U.S. government momentum
Stakk describes the postal vote deployment as building on its recently announced signature verification engagement for use by the FBI. Together, the company says, the engagements demonstrate its growing appeal to U.S. government agencies at state and federal levels, where trusted, accurate document and signature assessment is critical.
The FBI signature verification contract is now live in Phase 1 with Phase 2 underway, and runs to December 2027 with automatic 12-month renewal provisions, a longer revenue runway than the single-purpose postal vote deployment.
Stakk also states that continued sales momentum, particularly in the U.S. government sector, reinforces confidence in its technology and its ability to support applications where accuracy, authenticity and trust are critical.
The key points from the announcement are:
- A signature verification engagement for use by the FBI, announced recently.
- The postal vote deployment, delivered via ParaScript and strategic partners.
- A sector focus on accuracy, authenticity and trust.
Stakk describes itself as a scaled, profitable and globally relevant AI-native Digital Trust infrastructure Group focused on combating fraud. It cites more than 30 years of proprietary AI-powered document intelligence, more than 300 enterprise customers across the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Australia, and more than 110 billion interactions processed annually.
What investors should note
The company is explicit about the limits of this deployment. It states that this is a single-purpose deployment for the November elections and does not represent recurring revenue for Stakk.
Details of the software’s use, participating jurisdictions and operational processes cannot be disclosed. No contract value is disclosed in the announcement.
On the available information, the significance lies in validation and credibility with government agencies rather than near-term revenue. Stakk says the deployment provides further validation of the Group’s capabilities in government applications.
Looking ahead, the announcement points to continued sales momentum in the U.S. government sector. It provides no timelines or guidance, and its forward-looking statements note that actual outcomes may differ materially.
