HeroPlay adds 5,000+ digital products via Giftery.Pro partnership
SportsHero (ASX: SHO) has entered a distribution agreement with Giftery.Pro, adding more than 5,000 digital products from over 100 retail and brand partners to the HeroPlay Global Store. The deal brings globally recognised gaming brands including Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, Riot Games, and Google Play into the catalogue, alongside entertainment and lifestyle products such as Netflix, Spotify, Amazon, Uber, and Vodafone. Revenue will be commission-based, with no minimum spend or upfront fees payable by SportsHero.

What this deal adds to the HeroPlay ecosystem
A single API connection, hundreds of brands
The Giftery.Pro integration operates via a single API connection, removing the need for SportsHero to build individual commercial and technical integrations with each brand. Giftery.Pro is operated by Prepaid Solutions FZCO, a Free Zone Company based in Dubai, UAE. Vouchers are delivered digitally and instantly.
Key commercial terms of the agreement include:
- 5,000+ digital products available
- 100+ retail and brand partners
- Commission-based margin, varying by product and brand
- No minimum spend and no recurring fees
- Single API integration
Broader catalogue, broader markets
Each supplier in SportsHero’s growing network brings a different mix of brands, price points, and geographic coverage. Combining multiple suppliers is designed to deepen the catalogue and extend HeroPlay’s reach across SE Asia and other addressable markets, without requiring SportsHero to establish separate commercial relationships with each brand.
The expanded catalogue also provides more prize and reward options for the City Battle competitions that have been running throughout 2026, as well as for telco partner promotions and loyalty campaigns.
Tom Lapping, CEO
“We’re delighted to welcome Giftery.Pro as a new HeroPlay partner… This partnership adds real momentum to what we’re building and takes us another step closer to making HeroPlay a broader gaming and commerce platform.”
Understanding HeroPlay’s capital-light supplier model
The commission-based, API-integrated model means SportsHero earns a margin on each digital product sold without holding physical inventory or committing upfront capital. When a user purchases a voucher or gift card through HeroPlay, the product is delivered digitally and SportsHero receives a share of the sale. No goods need to be warehoused, and no prepayment is required to access the catalogue.
The Razer supply deal signed earlier in the quarter established the same capital-light template, adding over 1,000 gaming digital products including top-ups for Mobile Legends, Free Fire, and PUBG with no minimum spend or recurring fees attached.
For investors, the significance lies in the scalability of this structure. Adding new suppliers or product categories does not require proportionally larger capital outlays, meaning the revenue opportunity can grow without a corresponding increase in financial risk.
The table below illustrates HeroPlay’s growing digital product stack across categories:
| Category | Example Brands | Platform Role | Revenue Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gaming | Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, Riot Games | Core offering | Commission |
| Entertainment | Netflix, Spotify, Amazon | Expanding appeal | Commission |
| Lifestyle/Utility | Uber, Vodafone | Mainstream reach | Commission |
| Rewards/Promotions | Mixed (City Battle campaigns) | Engagement and retention | Commission |
Building HeroPlay into a broader gaming and commerce platform
SportsHero is methodically stacking supplier agreements to broaden HeroPlay from a gaming subscription platform into a multi-category digital commerce destination. The company’s stated strategy is to build the platform around a growing combination of revenue layers:
- Gaming subscriptions
- Vouchers and ePINs
- Webshops
- In-game purchases
- Other digital products
The monetisation logic follows from catalogue depth. A broader selection gives users more reasons to return to HeroPlay, which the company expects to translate into higher transaction frequency and increased spend from the same underlying user base.
Critically, SportsHero already has telco distribution established across key Southeast Asian markets, meaning Giftery.Pro’s products can reach users through existing channels without requiring a distribution build-out. The Giftery.Pro agreement continues to add product breadth to that established network, consistent with the company’s stated aim of making HeroPlay a destination for a wide range of digital products beyond gaming alone.
