Currently ranked 130th among the most wishlisted games on Steam
Reaching 130th on the Steam wishlist rankings well ahead of an early-2027 launch provides what PlaySide described as a long runway for continued wishlist accumulation through future marketing beats and into launch.
MOUSE launch results offer the clearest precedent for how PlaySide’s wishlist momentum can translate commercially, with that title converting a pre-launch pipeline into 360,000 units sold and US$10.4 million in gross sales across its opening weekend.
The Company’s Total Steam Wishlists chart illustrates this trajectory, showing a gradual climb from the Cinematic Reveal Trailer through to a sharp inflection at the Official Gameplay Reveal Trailer, where the curve steepens markedly toward the 400,000 mark.
Global media exposure and hands-on reception
The trailer and associated coverage generated 24.3 million views across official, press and creator channels between 25 and 30 August 2026. It also drew more than 400 global news articles, including coverage from IGN, Screen Rant, GameSpot, Polygon, Eurogamer and Game Informer.
Press and creators were provided with a hands-on preview, and the Company reported that sentiment was “overwhelmingly positive.” Outlets highlighted the title’s fit with the Game of Thrones IP, the depth and accessibility of its real-time strategy mechanics, and the quality of its in-game graphics.

CEO commentary
PlaySide Studios CEO Benn Skender pointed to the scale of the reveal and the pace of wishlist growth that followed.
Benn Skender, PlaySide Studios CEO
“The reveal of our first gameplay trailer at Opening Night Live was the biggest stage on which we have ever shown a game, and the first major marketing initiative since we first announced the title at Summer Game Fest in June 2025. The response has been fantastic, with significant press and creator coverage and the strongest three days of wishlist growth since the game was announced.”
“What is most pleasing is the sentiment; press and creators who went hands-on with the game consistently called out how well the real-time strategy genre fits the Game of Thrones IP and the quality of what we have built. We will continue to build on this momentum during the remainder of the calendar year and through to launch.”
Marketing roadmap into 2027 launch
Additional gamescom press, interviews and hands-on impressions are expected to be published over the coming weeks. PlaySide indicated its marketing campaign will continue through the remainder of calendar 2026 and into the launch window.
The title remains scheduled for PC launch in early 2027, and the Company said it will keep shareholders updated on material developments.
