Immutep to present efti data at two international congresses
Immutep (ASX: IMM; NASDAQ: IMMP) announced that data from two clinical trials of its first-in-class MHC Class II agonist, eftilagimod alfa (“efti”), will be presented in poster presentations at two international congresses in November and December 2026.
The first is the Connective Tissue Oncology Society (CTOS) 2026 Annual Meeting in Seoul, South Korea, on 18-21 November 2026. The second is the ESMO Immuno-Oncology & Advanced Therapies Congress 2026 in London, United Kingdom, on 14-16 December 2026.
Both trials evaluate efti in combination with KEYTRUDA® (pembrolizumab). The data will be made available on the Posters & Publications page of Immutep’s website following each presentation.

CTOS 2026 to show EFTISARC-NEO survival data in soft tissue sarcoma
At CTOS 2026, survival data will be presented from the investigator-initiated EFTISARC-NEO Phase II trial (NCT06128863). The trial evaluates efti in combination with KEYTRUDA® and radiotherapy in the neoadjuvant treatment of patients with resectable soft tissue sarcoma.
The poster focuses on Disease Free Survival (DFS) and sits in the Poster Discussion (Session 6) category. The first author is Pawel Sobczuk, MD PhD, of the Maria Sklodowska-Curie National Research Institute of Oncology in Warsaw, Poland.
The trial is led by an independent investigator and covers a soft tissue sarcoma setting, a separate tumour type from the head and neck cancer studied in TACTI-003.
The sarcoma program also carries FDA Orphan Drug Designation, granted in April 2026, which brings potential seven-year market exclusivity, tax credits for clinical trial costs and fee exemptions if efti reaches approval.
ESMO IO 2026 to present final TACTI-003 Part B survival results
At the ESMO Immuno-Oncology & Advanced Therapies Congress 2026, final median overall survival results will be presented from Part B of the TACTI-003 Phase IIb trial (NCT04811027). The trial evaluates efti plus KEYTRUDA® in first-line recurrent or metastatic head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) in patients with a PD-L1 combined positive score (CPS) of less than 1.
The poster will be shown in the Poster Display session. The first author is Claus A. Kristensen, MD PhD, of Copenhagen University Hospital in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Educational: why overall survival and disease free survival matter
Overall survival measures how long patients live after starting a treatment. Disease free survival measures how long patients remain free of the disease after treatment.
PD-L1 CPS is a score describing PD-L1 levels in a tumour, and a score below 1 indicates a low level. Investors in clinical-stage biotechs often watch survival endpoints because they are used to judge whether a therapy is helping patients.
Immutep is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing novel immunotherapies for cancer and autoimmune disease, and a pioneer in therapeutics related to Lymphocyte Activation Gene-3 (LAG-3).
