PARKD signs Symal partnership and receives binding commitments for A$800,000 placement
PARKD (ASX:PKD) has signed a Strategic Partnership Agreement (SPA) with Symal Contractors Pty Ltd, part of ASX-listed Symal Group Limited (ASX:SYL), appointing Symal as its exclusive strategic partner in Victoria and South Australia. The agreement covers the PARKD System, the company’s patented prefabricated structural system.
PARKD has also received binding commitments for an A$800,000 placement at A$0.035 per share. The price represents a 16.7% premium to the last close of A$0.03 and an 8.5% premium to the 30-day VWAP.
Symal is becoming a PARKD shareholder through the placement, while existing partners Azzurri Concrete and McNab Group have also committed further capital. For investors, an ASX-listed group and existing partners subscribing at a premium offers a market-based data point on how partners value the company’s intellectual property, although the announcement does not disclose any revenue outcome.
Peter McUtchen, Managing Director
“…Having an ASX-listed group of Symal’s scale become a shareholder, with Azzurri and McNab Group investing again at a premium, reflects the confidence our partners have in PARKD’s intellectual property and the opportunity to address real delivery challenges in high-growth construction sectors.”

Inside the Symal agreement
The SPA provides a framework for PARKD and Symal to jointly pursue suitable projects using the PARKD System, including industrial, data centre and multi-level infrastructure opportunities.
Key terms
The main terms of the agreement are:
- Initial term: three years, with exclusivity applying to each state from commencement.
- Extension: exclusivity continues to a five-year term if minimum aggregate contract values to PARKD of A$3.0 million (Victoria) and A$1.0 million (South Australia) are achieved over the initial term, with each state tested separately.
- Fees: no fees are payable under the Agreement itself, and work is to be contracted project by project on commercial terms.
- Termination: either party may terminate on 90 days’ notice, and either party may end exclusivity on a change of control transaction.
PARKD retains the ability to conduct its broader business and perform existing arrangements, including its agreements with Fielders, provided those activities do not breach Symal’s agreed exclusivity rights.
| Term | Victoria | South Australia | Investor relevance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Initial term | 3 years | 3 years | Exclusivity applies to each state from commencement |
| Minimum aggregate contract values to PARKD | A$3.0M | A$1.0M | A condition of exclusivity continuing to a five-year term, tested separately by state |
| Fees under the Agreement | None payable | None payable | Work contracted project by project on commercial terms |
The company cautions that entry into the agreement does not guarantee that any project will be awarded or that any particular revenue will be generated. Future projects remain subject to client selection, tender outcomes, commercial terms, technical requirements and normal project approvals.

How prefabrication and the east coast network fit together
What prefabricated structural systems offer
Prefabrication means building sections of a structure away from their final position, either off-site or at ground level. The completed modules are then lifted into place.
According to the announcement, the system is designed to reduce time spent on site, reduce labour demand, minimise working at height and improve construction sequencing. These features are described as particularly relevant to data centre and industrial projects, where program certainty, repeatability, structural performance and safety are key delivery priorities.
East coast footprint
PARKD’s prefabrication facility at Penrith, New South Wales, was commissioned in Q2 FY26 with production capacity of approximately 65,000m² per annum. PARKD holds the exclusive national rights to prefabricate and deliver SlimDek210® x MDSB® modules.
Azzurri Concrete’s earlier investment in PARKD was priced at a 36.4% premium to the prior close, giving the New South Wales partnership its own market-based valuation marker ahead of the Symal placement.
The company’s delivery partners are:
- Azzurri Concrete (NSW): invested in PARKD in April 2026.
- McNab Group (Queensland): invested in September 2025, PARKD completed its first east coast pilot project in FY26, and a further contract was awarded in September 2026.
- Symal (Victoria and South Australia): appointed under the new SPA.
Fielders, a BlueScope company, holds an exclusive Australian licence to manufacture, market and sell PARKD’s MDSB® and a first right to negotiate licences in six international markets.
Data centre specifications
PARKD states its unitised industrial building system has been engineered to meet the performance and load requirements of data centre and industrial applications. Features include:
- Unpropped construction
- Structural loads of up to 25kPa
- Clear spans of up to 22 metres
- Fire-rated performance
- Rapid deployment
PARKD’s stated objective remains to build a national network of capable delivery partners to support project identification, tendering, technical development and delivery across priority sectors. The announcement does not disclose any revenue outcome or pipeline value.
