Hubify Completes $250K Investment in Australian AI RegTech Venture HubLab
Hubify completes $250,000 strategic investment in Australian AI venture HubLab
Hubify has completed a $250,000 equity investment in HubLab Pty Ltd, an Australian AI operating layer powered by US-based regulatory technology platform Labrynth AI. The investment was funded by Hubify’s earlier capital raise at $0.042 per share on 27 February 2026, with the company acquiring Class A shares in HubLab carrying dividend, voting and governance rights.
HubLab raised $1.25 million in total capital at an $11 million pre-money valuation. Hubify will act as the “execution arm of Hublab Pty Ltd,” generating revenue through AI Advisory Services and AI implementations. The partnership structure positions Hubify to commercialise Labrynth’s regulatory AI capability across Australian enterprise and government markets.
Board-level governance has been established between the organisations. Hubify Non-Executive Director Charbel Nader has been appointed Director and Chairman of HubLab Pty Ltd, whilst Labrynth CEO and Director Stuart Lacey joins as Director of HubLab Pty Ltd.

What is RegTech and why does Australia matter?
RegTech — regulatory technology — refers to software systems that help businesses interpret and comply with complex regulatory frameworks. Manual compliance processes are expensive, error-prone, and carry legal risk. Technology that can read, interpret and apply regulatory instruments with precision reduces both cost and exposure.
Australia is the third largest RegTech market globally and operates some of the most technically demanding regulatory frameworks in the English-speaking world. This complexity makes the Australian market an ideal proving ground for regulatory AI before global expansion. Labrynth already operates across energy, healthcare, government, and property sectors worldwide.
For Hubify, the investment positions the company at the intersection of enterprise AI deployment and a growing, underserved compliance market. HubLab holds “Labrynth’s exclusive Australian commercialisation rights,” giving Hubify direct access to enterprise-grade regulatory intelligence capability.
Board alignment and partnership structure
The partnership between Hubify, HubLab, and Labrynth has been structured for deep alignment. Labrynth holds a co-founding equity stake in HubLab, whilst HubLab holds exclusive Australian commercialisation rights for Labrynth’s platform. Board appointments create direct governance links across the three entities.
| Entity | Role | Key Personnel | Strategic Function |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hubify | Execution arm | Victor Tsaccounis (CEO) | Deploy and support AI solutions for Australian clients |
| HubLab | Australian commercialisation vehicle | Charbel Nader (Chairman) | Local expert driving deployment with market knowledge and domain context |
| Labrynth | US regulatory AI platform | Stuart Lacey (CEO/Director) | Enterprise-grade regulatory intelligence engine for global markets |
Charbel Nader’s dual role as Hubify Non-Executive Director and HubLab Chairman creates structural governance between the organisations. Stuart Lacey’s appointment as HubLab Director ensures direct alignment between the technology platform and its Australian deployment strategy.
CERTAiNTY — first product already in enterprise rollout
CERTAiNTY is HubLab’s first product to market. The platform sits above existing payroll systems with no rip-and-replace required. It interprets Modern Awards and Enterprise Bargaining Agreements in real time, validating every pay run before it locks and generating an immutable, time-stamped Instance Record for every pay period.
Those records become part of an organisation’s legal file. The switching cost is evidentiary, not merely commercial. CERTAiNTY is Australia’s first and only insurance-backed payroll assurance platform. Pilot is complete. Enterprise rollout is underway.

Additional solutions are progressing in financial services, construction, and state and local government. Labrynth was spun out of Invisible Technologies, the company responsible for building training infrastructure trusted by the world’s largest AI providers. Labrynth is backed by Infinity Constellation, the world’s first AI holding company.
Investment terms and future options
Hubify’s initial investment secures two additional options to increase its stake in HubLab:
- Option 1: Additional $250,000 investment at the same $11 million pre-money valuation, exercisable until 31 March 2027 or 30 days before a new capital raise by HubLab
- Option 2: Up to $500,000 investment at a 20% discount to HubLab’s most recent capital raise price, subject to a minimum $12.5 million pre-money valuation, exercisable within 36 months or earlier closing of the next capital raise
Hubify holds anti-dilution protection through full-ratchet provisions for 12 months, requiring issuance of additional Class A shares to Hubify in a down round. Tag-along rights allow Hubify to participate pro-rata in any sale of shares by a controlling shareholder on the same terms.
