Activeport lands three-year deal with Atturra to power AI and cloud orchestration
Activeport Group (ASX:ATV) has signed a three-year software agreement with fellow ASX-listed technology company Atturra Limited (ASX:ATA), under which Activeport’s orchestration software will underpin a new self-service portal covering network, cloud, compute, and GPU services including Inference-as-a-Service.
The revenue structure comprises an upfront customisation payment followed by recurring annual licence fees for software and provisioned services across the initial three-year term. The deal is intended to help Atturra bring new AI and compute capacity to market faster through a self-service digital experience.

What Activeport will deliver for Atturra
Once implemented, the new Atturra Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) platform will bring together Activeport’s network overlay orchestration and automation software capabilities to support a unified, on-demand experience. Key features of the platform include:
- Enabling Atturra clients, partners and internal teams to quote, order, provision, manage and monitor services in real time through a fully branded digital environment.
- Coverage across network connectivity, cloud, compute, and GPU and Inference-as-a-Service offerings.
- A design purpose of streamlining manual processes, improving service delivery, and providing Atturra with a scalable foundation for expanding its digital services portfolio, including via white-label, multi-tenanted partners.
Revenue model: how Activeport gets paid
The agreement consists of two revenue components: a one-off upfront customisation payment and recurring annual licence fees for software and provisioned services over the three-year initial term. Standard termination clauses apply, covering termination for breach, change of ownership, and insolvency.
Michael Glynn, Activeport
“Activeport’s orchestration software will provide Atturra with a scalable platform for automating connectivity, cloud services and Atturra’s own cloud, compute, GPU and Inference-as-a-Service offering, reducing operational complexity and enabling a more seamless, self-service experience for its clients and partners.”
Why Network-as-a-Service and AI orchestration are attracting enterprise investment
Orchestration software acts as the control layer that automates how digital services are ordered, configured, and delivered. Rather than relying on manual back-office processes, it enables a self-service environment where customers can provision what they need in real time, without human intervention at each step.
For enterprises purchasing AI compute capacity, particularly GPU resources used for AI inference workloads, this automation is increasingly necessary. As the volume and complexity of service requests grow, manual provisioning becomes a bottleneck that slows delivery and increases costs.
Network-as-a-Service platforms address this by giving buyers a digital interface to access infrastructure on demand. ASX-listed technology companies such as Atturra, which serve enterprise clients across cloud, managed services, and connectivity, are turning to orchestration software vendors to compress their time-to-market and reduce operational overhead. Building these capabilities in-house takes significant time and resource, making third-party software agreements an efficient path to deploying competitive digital service portals.

For ATV investors, three aspects of this agreement are worth noting:
- Validation signal: Winning an established ASX-listed IT solutions company as a client signals that Activeport’s software is capable of serving sophisticated enterprise buyers. The announcement itself describes this as “a strong validation of Activeport’s technology and its ability to win established, ASX-listed technology service providers as clients and to grow with them as they scale offerings to meet rising enterprise demand.”
- Recurring revenue structure: Annual licence fees provide revenue predictability across the three-year term, rather than relying solely on one-off project work.
- Scalability angle: The white-label, multi-tenanted architecture means Atturra can extend the platform to its own partners, potentially growing the volume of services provisioned through the system and the associated fees flowing to Activeport over time.
The Atturra agreement adds an enterprise IT buyer to a client base that also includes international telcos: the Global Edge NaaS platform signed New Zealand’s Spark and Singapore’s ViewQwest during its launch week, targeting more than $6 million in annual recurring revenue by FY28.
Activeport is headquartered in Perth, with operations across Australia, Europe and India, and delivers network automation and orchestration software to telecommunications, data centre and IT markets globally.
