Why Chime matters to Stakk
A material client with scale
Chime is a U.S. financial technology company offering mobile banking and financial services, including checking, savings and credit products. It is not a bank, with banking services provided by The Bancorp Bank, N.A. or Stride Bank, N.A., Members FDIC.
Chime reported 10.4 million active members as at 30 June 2026.
Stakk announcement
“Chime is a material client of Stakk.”
The announcement does not quantify Chime’s contribution to Stakk’s revenue.
The Chime extension sits alongside other U.S. banking wins, including the five-year Candescent banking contract, which embeds Stakk’s document intelligence in a platform serving more than 1,300 banks and credit unions.

How document and image authentication fights fraud
Mobile image capture lets a customer photograph an item, such as a document or cheque, using a phone. Image authentication then checks whether that image is genuine, while optical character recognition (OCR) reads the text and extracts the data from it.
Together, these steps allow a digital financial platform to verify submitted items and pull out the information it needs. Trusted verification matters as AI-driven fraud threats evolve, a risk Stakk’s own materials reference.
These services sit within Stakk’s fraud-prevention and Digital Trust focus. The agreement’s term runs through to 31 December 2027.
Stakk’s position in Digital Trust
According to the “About Stakk” section of the announcement:
- Stakk is an AI-native Digital Trust infrastructure Group focused on combating fraud
- The company describes itself as scaled, profitable and globally relevant
- It serves more than 300 enterprise customers across the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Australia
- It processes more than 110 billion interactions annually
- It combines more than 30 years of proprietary AI-powered document intelligence with contextual Digital Personas, federated signal intelligence and pre-execution decisioning
The scale described in Stakk’s company profile, including more than 300 enterprise customers and 110 billion annual interactions, reflects the ParaScript acquisition, which combined two document intelligence businesses into one Digital Trust platform.
The extension reinforces an existing relationship with a large U.S. fintech client through to 31 December 2027.
