KTEK hits September restart target as deliveries recommence
KTEK Aerosystems Ltd (ASX: KTK) has recommenced deliveries under its principal production program, meeting the September 2026 restart target the company outlined in its June quarterly activities report. The initial production batch comprises completed subassemblies manufactured through KTEK’s European partner network, with products being shipped to an existing OEM customer for onward delivery to defence customers in the USA and other countries.
The milestone returns KTEK’s principal program to active delivery and re-establishes the pathway to customer invoicing as products are delivered and accepted. It follows the completion of the manufacturing, tooling, and quality-assurance activities required to restart deliveries, and represents a key execution milestone following KTEK’s ASX listing in May 2026.

Production capacity lifted to 200 units per month
With the delivery pathway re-established, KTEK has increased its total monthly production capacity to 200 units per month and intends to progressively ramp output from the initial batch toward that ceiling over the coming months.
The key capacity and revenue metrics are:
- Prior annual revenue (2025): $5.3m (average of approximately 50 units per month)
- New capacity ceiling: 200 units per month
- Implied monthly run rate at full capacity: $1.66m per month
- Ramp: progressive build from the initial batch toward full capacity
The implied monthly run rate of $1.66m is a capacity-based illustration derived from extrapolating the 2025 revenue per unit across the new production ceiling. It is not a revenue commitment or forward forecast.
KTEK has also implemented quality controls across its manufacturing and delivery pathway, together with customer acceptance processes. This framework is designed to support increasing production volumes while maintaining the standards required by the customer.
Dekel Keisar, Founder and Managing Director, KTEK Aerosystems
“Recommencing deliveries on schedule is an important execution milestone for KTEK. Product is now moving through our European manufacturing network to the customer, marking the return of our principal production program to active delivery. Our focus now is on progressively increasing production towards the new manufacturing capacity we have created and beyond this, creating even more capacity to fill the high levels of demand that we see in the marketplace.”
Understanding KTEK’s Cordless Factory model
KTEK operates what it terms a Cordless Factory model, an asset-light structure that retains engineering design, structural analysis, and quality assurance in-house while outsourcing physical manufacturing to a certified global partner network spanning Israel, Europe, Thailand, and the United States. Rather than owning and operating production facilities, KTEK manages programme execution, qualification, and customer-facing processes centrally, with manufacturing capacity sourced from qualified partners. This approach allows the company to scale production and expand geographically without the capital intensity associated with traditional defence manufacturers, and is the operational framework that enabled both the delivery restart and the lift to 200 units per month capacity without significant fixed-asset investment.
KTEK’s five product lines are summarised below:
SATCOM components and sub-assemblies represent the newest of KTEK’s five product lines, added in July 2026 when the company launched a dedicated business unit and signed an LOI with Israeli terminal developer Over-Sat to manufacture RF-transparent radomes and integrated antenna assemblies for unmanned and mobile platforms.
| Product Line | Description |
|---|---|
| Composite airframes | UAV fuselage structures, wings and control surfaces, lightweight aerospace composites |
| Electromechanical assemblies | Actuation modules, avionics trays and mounts, power distribution systems |
| Rugged defence systems | Shock-isolated racks and cabinets, EMC-hardened enclosures and mission-system infrastructure |
| Systems integration and kitting | MIL-spec harnessing, PCBA integration, firmware loading and acceptance testing |
| SATCOM components and sub-assemblies | RF-transparent radomes, lightweight antenna structures and integrated assemblies for mobile defence and commercial platforms |
What’s next for KTEK
The announcement outlines several near-term priorities for the company:
- Continue the progressive production ramp toward and beyond 200 units per month
- Progress the qualification of additional manufacturing sources
- Assess how the Netherlands and broader European footprint could support future customer assembly and delivery requirements as relevant customer programmes expand in Europe
- Update the market on material changes to production cadence, customer orders, or manufacturing capacity in accordance with continuous disclosure obligations
The delivery restart converts months of manufacturing and qualification work into product moving to a paying customer, re-establishing the invoicing pathway and demonstrating that the Cordless Factory model can scale without capital intensity. For investors, it marks the point at which programme preparation translates into operational output and revenue-generating activity.
The delivery restart runs concurrently with other program activity: the SCOOPER 25 prototype contract with Israel-based Vestal Technology, a US$172,500 fixed-price agreement signed in September 2026, adds a second named customer to KTEK’s active program base alongside the existing OEM relationship.
The timing and volume of future deliveries remain subject to manufacturing performance, component availability, customer acceptance, logistics, and applicable export controls.
