Tissue Repair Limited (ASX: TRP) has resumed direct distribution and management of TR Pro+ in the aesthetic channel across Australia and New Zealand. The move sits alongside the Company’s existing distribution of TR Pro+ in the medical channel.
Announced on 2 September 2026, the change reverses the September 2025 appointment of Advanced Cosmeceuticals Pty Ltd as Tissue Repair’s distributor, marking a return to a direct distribution model in the aesthetic market.
What the transition involves
Tissue Repair is transitioning customer relationships, ordering and account management back in-house. The Company has stated it does not currently anticipate any interruption to customers’ ability to order TR Pro+ during the transition.
Under the new arrangement, Tissue Repair will directly assume responsibility for:
-
Customer relationships
-
Sales
-
Ordering
-
Account management
-
Customer engagement across business development opportunities, promotions, and education
Bringing distribution in-house gives the Company direct ownership of the customer relationship and margin, positioning it for the next stage of the aesthetic channel’s development.

What TR Pro+ is and why the channel matters
TR Pro+ is Tissue Repair’s proprietary hydrogel designed for use following aesthetic procedures and in the management of acute wounds. A hydrogel is a water-based dressing applied to skin to support healing. The product is listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG), the register maintained by Australia’s medicines and medical devices regulator.
The announcement references two distinct channels. The aesthetic channel covers use following cosmetic and aesthetic procedures, while the medical channel covers clinical wound management settings.
For a small-cap company, a direct distribution model can matter in several ways. It brings the business closer to its customers, retains margin that would otherwise be shared with a distributor, and gives the Company greater control over product education and promotion.
Direct control over an ARTG-listed proprietary product in a growing aesthetic market strengthens the Company’s grip on its commercial pathway.
