Codeifai Launches Page Builder and Locks in GS1 Compliance Ahead of 2027 Retail Mandate
Codeifai advances on three fronts with Page Builder launch, GS1 compliance, and QuantumAI Secure trademark milestone
Codeifai Limited (ASX: CDE) has reported concurrent progress across three workstreams: the launch of a self-service Page Builder within its ProtectCode platform, the general availability of GS1 Digital Link compliance across all customer tiers, and early acceptance of its QuantumAI Secure trademark by IP Australia. The updates follow the March 2026 QuantumAI Secure platform launch and reflect the company’s stated strategy of developing high-margin, self-service SaaS products at the intersection of AI, post-quantum cryptography, and serialised data.
The connected packaging market, in which Codeifai’s ProtectCode and ConnectQR platforms operate, is projected to grow from approximately US$28.3 billion in 2025 to US$60.5 billion by 2035.

QuantumAI Secure — integration on track and IP protection secured
Integration of QuantumAI Secure into Codeifai’s broader platform is progressing well following the March 2026 launch. The platform is positioned as a complementary layer to ProtectCode and ConnectQR, creating what the company describes as an end-to-end trust infrastructure: serialised QR tracking from the origin of a physical or digital asset, through to its secure transfer or transaction protected by QuantumAI Secure, all within a self-service SaaS environment.
IP Australia has accepted the QuantumAI Secure trademark application ahead of the standard examination period of three to four months, indicating the examiner identified no conflicting marks or distinctiveness issues during review.
What the trademark timeline looks like
- Filed: 16 March 2026
- Accepted early by IP Australia: 16 May 2026 (Trademark No. 26361065)
- Publication as accepted: scheduled after 16 August 2026
- Two-month statutory opposition period opens following publication
- Registration expected within 10 working days of the opposition period closing, subject to no successful opposition
The application covers two classes of services. Class 36 encompasses electronic transfer of crypto assets, electronic funds transfer, and secure transfer services. Class 38 covers secure electronic mail, secure data transfer, and wireless data transfer.
Market expansion signals beyond fintech
Beyond its primary fintech and enterprise software focus, Codeifai sees material opportunity to extend QuantumAI Secure into defence, mining, agriculture, and security infrastructure. The company is currently evaluating potential new opportunities for expansion in these segments, though no contracts or commercial agreements have been disclosed at this stage.
ProtectCode platform refreshed with Page Builder and GS1 Digital Link
Page Builder removes the technical barrier to connected packaging campaigns
Page Builder is a new self-service consumer landing page capability, now live within the Connect dashboard. Operating similarly to platforms such as Squarespace, Canva, and WordPress, the tool allows ProtectCode customers to design and publish branded consumer experiences without requiring external technical resources.
Configurable modules available within Page Builder include:
- Product validation
- ProtectCode verification
- Consumer reporting
- Branded landing content
- Social media platform integrations
The removal of external development dependencies is the primary commercial benefit, enabling brands to deploy connected packaging campaigns at greater speed and scale.
GS1 Digital Link compliance — ready for the 2027 mandate
GS1 Sunrise 2027 is a global retail mandate requiring retailer adoption of 2D barcodes by 2027. For brands, the practical challenge has been managing multiple codes for different contexts: one for retail point-of-sale scanning, another for supply chain tracking, and another for consumer engagement. GS1 Digital Link resolves this by enabling a single code to function simultaneously across all three contexts.
ProtectCode now generates GS1 Digital Link-compliant codes across all customer tiers, meaning existing and new customers can transition ahead of the 2027 deadline without running separate code formats. Codeifai holds GS1 Associate Alliance Partner status, which the company cites as a credibility marker for its compliance positioning.
The broader market context supports the strategic timing. The global smart packaging market is projected to reach $43.6 billion by 2027, growing at a 5.2% CAGR. ProtectCode has already deployed 250 million codes across 26 countries.
Reported customer outcomes to date include:
| Metric | Reported Outcome | Commercial Implication |
|---|---|---|
| QR scans and authentications | 10–15% month-on-month growth | Increasing consumer engagement with serialised products |
| Digital sales via reordering and cross-selling | 5–10% growth | Direct revenue contribution from connected packaging |
| Geographic market identification | New markets identified via granular analytics | CRM-integrated data enabling commercial expansion decisions |
