Codexa platform upgrade delivers VIP casino experience and in-house AI compliance engine
InFocus Group Holdings (ASX: IFG) has launched the first significant upgrade to Codexa, its next-generation sweepstakes casino platform built in-house by the IFG iGaming division. The upgrade delivers two headline improvements: a VIP casino-floor player experience and a newly developed compliance backoffice that streamlines anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) processes.
Codexa is presently targeting the US sweepstakes casino market, offered as a white-label platform to prospective gaming operators alongside a limited commercial launch under IFG iGaming’s own brand. The company positions this upgrade as a way to strengthen Codexa’s appeal to prospective white-label licensees.

A rebuilt player experience and a leaner operator backend
The upgrade has been designed as a comprehensive enhancement across both the player-facing experience and the operator-facing backend.
On the player side, the experience has been rebuilt around a premium, luxury aesthetic intended to replicate the style and social atmosphere of a VIP casino floor in an online setting. New social features include in-app chat between players.
The company has also developed functionality enabling peer-to-peer transfers of chips and coins between friends, which is on the product roadmap for future release rather than live at launch.
The second version of the platform has been heavily optimised for mobile play. Graceful degradation technology enables both high-resolution interactive elements for capable devices and simpler interfacing for slower connections. An AI-powered personal concierge provides personalised gaming recommendations based on a user’s playing history and inferred preferences.
For operators, the upgrade introduces an enhanced commercial backend incorporating new AI-driven features. This tooling is designed to reduce the cost and operational complexity of running a gaming platform, enabling operators to manage the platform with a leaner team while improving scalability.
The platform now includes a loyalty system that can be customised for each white-label operator’s clientele. Each white-label operator can also customise both the game providers and the number of games they make available. The previous goldante.com technical preview has been taken offline pending deployment of the upgraded platform.
Codexa’s initial technical preview went live at goldante.com earlier in 2026, showcasing roughly 20% of the planned game catalogue before the platform was taken offline ahead of this upgraded deployment.
Ken Tovich, CEO and Executive Director
“This upgrade takes Codexa to another level. On the player side, we are bringing the style, energy and social feel of a VIP casino floor into the online space, with features such as in-app chat and, in due course, the ability for friends to transfer chips and coins between one another. On the operator side, we have built an AI-enabled backend that makes the platform meaningfully cheaper and simpler to run, with a smaller team, which we believe materially strengthens Codexa’s appeal to prospective white-label customers.”
The in-house AI compliance engine, the differentiator
A central component of the upgrade is a proprietary AI-driven compliance engine, developed entirely in-house by IFG, spanning anti-fraud, AML and KYC processes. The engine incorporates real-time transaction monitoring, identity verification and sanctions screening.
The company believes the strength of this compliance technology is a significant differentiator. In particular, the robustness of its AML and KYC processes is expected to support discussions regarding the potential future acceptance of credit card payments on the platform.
The company notes that the acceptance of credit card payments remains subject to a range of factors, including third-party payment processor and card network requirements, and that no assurance can be given as to if or when such functionality will be available.
These back-office capabilities materially reduce the team required to run a gaming operation. The company intends for this to create opportunities to target potential white-label operators outside conventional operators, for example social media personalities with large followings that may not otherwise be in the gaming industry.
IFG also believes the compliance engine has potential applicability beyond the gaming sector, and is actively engaging with payment platform operators and other compliance-heavy sectors where the technology could have novel applications.
Ken Tovich, CEO and Executive Director
“Underpinning all of this is a compliance engine we have built entirely in-house – covering anti-fraud, AML and KYC. We believe this technology is a genuine differentiator. Its strength is such that we are now able to have discussions about the potential future acceptance of credit card payments, and we believe it has applications well beyond gaming. We are actively exploring some of these opportunities, including in the payments space.”
What sweepstakes casinos and white-label platforms mean for investors
A white-label platform is one where IFG builds and licenses the underlying technology, and third-party operators run their own branded casinos on top of it.
The US sweepstakes casino market generated US$3.4 billion in net operator revenue in 2024 on over US$10.6 billion in gross player spend, with 2025 projections exceeding US$14.3 billion, reflecting a growth rate that has made the sector one of the fastest-expanding segments in US online entertainment.
The connection to this upgrade is direct. A platform that is easier to operate, combined with stronger in-house compliance technology, widens the pool of potential licensees the company can pursue.
Multi-track commercialisation strategy and revenue model
IFG continues to pursue its multi-track commercialisation strategy for Codexa. The strategy primarily encompasses:
-
White-label licensing and managed services to third-party operators
-
Limited commercial operations in the United States
-
Entertaining future opportunities to divest the IFG iGaming business unit
While each arrangement may differ depending on the scale of the operator’s intentions, the company expects revenues from white-label operators to include:
-
A monthly licensing fee
-
A percentage fee charged on gaming revenues
-
Managed services fees such as IT infrastructure, deployment and maintenance
| Upgrade Feature | Why It Matters to Investors |
|---|---|
| AI compliance engine (in-house) | Positioned as a differentiator; supports potential credit-card discussions and possible applications beyond gaming |
| Leaner operator backend | Widens the pool of potential white-label customers beyond traditional operators |
| VIP casino-floor UX and 6,000+ games | Improves competitiveness against established sweepstakes leaders |
| Multi-track strategy | Multiple revenue paths plus optional divestment upside |
Patents and next steps
The company is preparing patent applications in respect of certain elements of the technology developed within Codexa. It does not intend to disclose further details of the subject matter or jurisdictions at this time in order to protect its intellectual property position.
Gamification and additional AI-enabled features have been developed and will launch following completion of the patent applications in progress. The company is also actively exploring opportunities in the payments space and other compliance-heavy sectors.
IFG is a data intelligence and software solutions company operating four main operational units: InFocus Analytics, the Frugl Grocery app, and software development consultancies Onify and Prodigy9. It also operates two strategic business units, InFocus Digital Ventures and InFocus Gaming Technologies, providing context for how the iGaming division fits within the wider group.
