CTM locks in five-year global partnership with Amadeus
Corporate Travel Management Limited (ASX:CTD) has entered a five-year global partnership with Amadeus IT Group, a leading travel technology provider, under which Amadeus becomes CTM’s preferred Global Distribution System (GDS) provider across all regions.
The agreement follows a competitive tender process. Management framed the partnership as a move to enhance customer value and accelerate the digital transformation of CTM’s business.
CTM expects meaningful long-term strategic, financial and operating benefits over the term of the agreement, though these are described as building progressively. No contract value, revenue impact, or cost savings figures were disclosed.

What the Amadeus platform brings to CTM’s operations
The partnership is expected to deliver measurable technology and productivity benefits by giving CTM access to a broad pool of travel content through a single integrated platform.
According to the announcement, the platform provides:
-
Access to more than 400 airlines
-
Approximately 2 million hotel properties
-
More than 25 rail providers
-
Delivered through a single integrated platform
Beyond content breadth, the Amadeus platform enables 24/7 automation of ticketing, queue management, quality control and schedule change processing. CTM expects this to reduce manual servicing requirements across its operations.
Under the agreement, CTM will adopt a comprehensive Amadeus portfolio of solutions, bringing together distribution, retailing and servicing capabilities within one framework.
| Platform Capability | What It Means for CTM |
|---|---|
| 400+ airlines, ~2M hotels, 25+ rail providers | Broader real-time content and bookability across regions |
| 24/7 ticketing & queue automation | Reduced manual servicing requirements |
| Integrated distribution, retailing & servicing | A single unified operational framework |
Why this partnership matters to CTM investors
For a corporate travel business, the choice of GDS provider carries genuine strategic weight. CTM points to several qualitative benefits from the agreement, including enhanced customer experience, improved operational efficiency, and accelerated digital capability across the Group’s global operations.
CTM confirmed Ana Pedersen as permanent CEO in July 2026, bringing more than 20 years of global corporate travel experience to the role at a moment when securing a technology partnership of this scale reflects the strategic priorities she has flagged since taking the helm.
Importantly for investors, CTM has stated that the financial benefits are expected to build progressively as implementation occurs across its regions and transaction volumes migrate to the Amadeus platform. This is a phased outcome rather than an immediate earnings uplift, and no figures have been attached to it.
The company also anticipates further productivity benefits as new technologies, automation and functionality are implemented across its global operations, suggesting the value proposition is tied to execution over the five-year term rather than a single event.
The Amadeus agreement arrives while CTM is also working through its UK remediation program, under which $15 million was paid to impacted customers in December 2025, making the operational efficiency gains from the new GDS partnership particularly relevant to the company’s broader recovery trajectory.
Ana Pedersen, Managing Director and Group CEO of CTM
“This represents an important milestone in CTM’s digital transformation and will combine CTM’s deep expertise in global corporate travel solutions with Amadeus’ advanced technology to accelerate innovation in an increasingly fast-paced and competitive travel marketplace.”
Understanding a Global Distribution System (GDS)
A Global Distribution System (GDS) is the technology that connects travel sellers with airlines, hotels, car rental companies, airport operations, payment and data solutions, as described by CTM’s Managing Director and Group CEO Ana Pedersen in the announcement.
Enhancements rolling out across CTM’s platforms
As part of the agreement, CTM will implement enhancements across its online and offline platforms. The company has outlined four planned areas of improvement:
-
Improve real-time content availability and bookability across global operations
-
Streamline end-to-end customer service and servicing processes
-
Strengthen AI-driven capabilities
-
Enhance customer experience through Amadeus airport and payment services
These enhancements are set to apply across both online and offline platforms. Given the five-year term, benefits are expected to phase in as regional implementation and volume migration progress, and no completion date for the rollout was disclosed.
The announcement was authorised for release by Shelley Sorrenson, Company Secretary.
