Ensight v2.3 released, expanding platform from 8 to 12 commercial applications
Enlitic, Inc. (ASX: ENL) announced on 6 October 2026 the release of Ensight v2.3, expanding the platform from 8 to 12 commercial applications. The company describes Ensight as its “AI-driven SaaS-based medical imaging data standardisation and governance platform.”
The release spans migration, operational analytics and clinical workflow use cases. Three items headline the update:
- Four new commercial capabilities
- Integration with Sectra software systems
- A third major OEM integration, subject to customer validation testing
The expanded applications are available to existing Ensight customers as additional subscriptions. According to the announcement, this creates an opportunity to deliver additional value across the installed base and grow annualised recurring revenue (ARR). The announcement does not quantify any ARR impact.

Sectra integration opens a second major OEM environment
Ensight now integrates with Sectra software systems, the second major OEM environment alongside Intelerad where the platform can be integrated. An OEM is a technology provider whose imaging systems hospitals already use, so integration lets Enlitic reach customers through platforms they already operate.
Enlitic stated that the Sectra PACS integration enables healthcare organisations operating Sectra’s enterprise imaging environment to access Enlitic’s AI-driven standardisation for data management and migration capabilities without replacing their existing core imaging infrastructure.
The first active Sectra customer integration came through the University of Michigan Health-Sparrow engagement, a US$806,000 contract that connects Ensight’s standardisation output to Sectra’s enterprise imaging environment.
Sectra at a glance
The announcement describes Sectra as a publicly traded Swedish medical technology company and a leading global player in enterprise medical imaging. Key figures from the release:
- Manages over 170 million annual imaging exams
- Serves health systems across more than 2,500 sites worldwide
- Won 7 Best in KLAS awards in 2026 for the highest customer satisfaction
With Ensight now interoperable with both Sectra PACS and Intelerad, Enlitic said it can deploy a repeatable integration framework across two major medical imaging OEM ecosystems. The company stated this reduces implementation friction and supports faster, more scalable adoption of Ensight by healthcare providers.
Third OEM integration
A third major OEM integration, beyond Intelerad and Sectra, is included in the release, subject to customer validation testing. It is currently completing final validation, and Enlitic expects to announce details of successful validation before the end of 2026. The OEM has not been named.
What Ensight does and why standardisation matters
Enlitic develops software that manages medical imaging data in radiology, including MRI, CT scans, X-ray and ultrasound images. Standardisation means giving that data a consistent structure, so that existing inconsistencies are not carried into a new system during migration.
The announcement does not detail the specific data problems standardisation addresses. It does state that a standardised data layer lets customers adopt additional workflow and analytics capability without new infrastructure.
Enlitic’s growth strategy is built on a “land and expand” model. Near-term migration projects win the customer and generate near-term revenue. Ensight is then embedded within the customer’s environment, providing the opportunity for a recurring subscription, with further capabilities and applications able to be added over time.
That pathway is already visible in practice, with Lumus Imaging signing a three-year recurring subscription across hanging protocols, de-identification and AI validation, a deal that reflects the shift from one-off migration revenue toward SaaS.
For investors, the relevance is the link between project-based income and potential recurring revenue. More applications running on the same standardised data layer give each customer more to adopt.

What’s new in v2.3
The announcement describes four additional applications in v2.3, summarised below.
| Application | What it does | Commercial angle |
|---|---|---|
| Productivity & Operational Analytics | Gives customers visibility of standardisation throughput and results | Creates an additional analytics use case within the same Ensight deployment |
| Mass Archive Standardisation | Applies Ensight standardisation across a customer’s historical imaging archive at scale | University of Michigan Health-Sparrow project (announced 28 September 2026) has ~10.6 million radiology and cardiology imaging studies in scope |
| Integrated Migration & Archive Standardisation | Standardises imaging data as it is migrated to a new environment | Allows Ensight to be introduced as part of the migration engagement itself |
| Standardised data for Automated Case Allocation | Uses standardised imaging data to allow automatic directing of each study to the most appropriate radiologist | Extends standardisation to support day-to-day operational workflow automation |
Integrated Migration & Archive Standardisation carries the most direct commercial link. Because Ensight can be deployed from the start of a migration project, Enlitic said it creates a direct pathway from its established migration engagements into recurring software use cases, rather than relying on a separate post-migration deployment.
The v2.3 release also includes several other upgrades:
- A new Export API that makes standardised study and series data available for reporting, analysis and ingestion into other systems
- Improved AI models for X-ray and de-identification
- Faster incremental processing with transferable configuration profiles that simplify deployment and upgrades
Roadmap and what to watch
Five further commercial applications are planned for 2027. They are expected to extend Ensight into support for RadLex and SNOMED CT code output, procedure code inferencing, billing and coding optimisation, and research data management and bulk de-identification. Enlitic stated this future functionality is indicative only and remains subject to development, validation and commercial prioritisation.
Management said it expects to report the following:
- Successful validation of a third OEM integration before the end of 2026
- Multiple Ensight go lives
- Additional high value migration contracts
Mr Sistenich closed his commentary with the view that “…Enlitic has excellent commercial momentum across multiple markets.” This reflects management’s assessment, and the announcement provides no financial figures or forecasts to accompany it.
Curious About Enlitic’s Expanding Ensight Platform?
Ensight v2.3 lifts the platform from 8 to 12 commercial applications, adds a Sectra integration and sets up a potential third OEM partnership. With a land-and-expand model linking migration projects to recurring subscriptions, the release marks a notable step in Enlitic’s SaaS strategy.
